🏔️ More snowy pictures to make us feel cozy: Our mountains were covered in a rare blanket of snow this past weekend, and a group of photographers didn't miss their chance to capture the stunning scenery. From an overlook at Kenneth Hahn State Park, they snapped shots of the Hollywood sign and downtown LA with a snowy mountain backdrop. "I've lived here for 40 years, and I've never seen it like this," said one of the photographers. They say another storm is on the way, so grab your camera and get ready for more winter wonderland shots

🌆 West Hollywood’s Sky Frames: West Hollywood's Historic Preservation Commission will be discussing a proposal for a new two-sided billboard on Sunset Boulevard, called Sky Frames, which would replace three existing signs on a building roof. The project also includes the installation of three pedestrian gathering spaces. The commission will examine potential impacts on eligible cultural resources in Sunset Plaza. Stay tuned for updates on this interesting mix of advertising and public space as we at CuratedLA should have an update soon

Eater: Los Angeles pointed this out, and we thought this was very important to share their message, word-for-word:

There’s a GoFundMe for former owner of Mid City restaurant Brownstone Bistro, Clive Jackson. Jackson — who goes by “Chef” — was showcased on Gordon Ramsay’s show 24 Hours To Hell & Back in 2018 and lives in a tent on Skid Row. During recent torrential rainstorms, Chef’s tent collapsed. A Food Not Bombs volunteer found Chef, moved him to a hotel, and set up the fundraiser. Below is the original Eater: Los Angeles article.

Yesterday, we asked: In Los Angeles, it is illegal for a person to lick ____

The answer: a toad

Today’s question: This question is likely not going to be our most popular, unless you are killing time in traffic…

On average, how many days (yes, days), does the Los Angeles driver spend in traffic?

  1. Two

  2. Three

  3. Four

  4. Five

🏈 Is the GOAT trying stand-up?: Sources claim that NFL legend Tom Brady has been discussing a potential career shift to stand-up comedy with his inner circle. Brady had a small role in ‘80 For Brady,’ where the stars of the film, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Rita Moreno praised Brady for his talents. But comedic sources within his inner-circles claim that Brady needs a bit of work if he wishes to get those standing-os: one insider described him as a ‘water boy’ within the comedy realm. But nonetheless, even if Brady fumbles in comedy, he will always be football’s GOAT

💛 Courteney Cox receives star: Courteney Cox received her well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and two of her Friends co-stars showed up to support her despite the less-than-stellar weather. Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow joined Cox at the ceremony and shared a heartwarming moment with their longtime friend. Cox joked about her humble beginnings in Birmingham, Alabama, saying, 'the only time that you see your name on a sidewalk is if you did it yourself with a stick in the wet cement.'
