Tanaka Farms is a fourth-generation family farm located in Irvine, California. The farm was founded by Takeo who immigrated to the United States from Japan in the early 1900s, and his son, Farmer Grandpa George, a native of Dinuba, California. The Tanakas started by growing strawberries, but they soon expanded to include a variety of other crops, including vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees.

This year, Tanaka Farms marks their 25th anniversary at their location on University Drive in Irvine. The farm instills their belief in the importance of connecting where our food comes from. To illustrate this, Tanaka Farms offers responsibly farmed produce, farm tours, educational workshops, an educational center, u-pick activities, luncheons, cookouts, cooking demos, a community-supported agriculture program, and much more throughout the year.

In October, Tanaka Farms opens their pumpkin patch to the public from Sunday - Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, and Friday + Saturday from 9:00am - 9:00pm. Their festive pumpkin patch offers Wagon Rides, Barnyard Exhibits, U-Pick Veggie Patch, a Corn Maze, U-Pick Pumpkin Fields, Arts + Crafts, Farmer Golf, Pumpkin Cannon, and more listed below.
