About the Cal Poly Pomona
The Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Patch and Festival is a popular fall event that has been held for over 30 years. The event is hosted by the Cal Poly Pomona Huntley College of Agriculture and features a variety of activities for families to enjoy, including pumpkin picking, a corn maze, hayrides, a petting zoo, and more.
The festival has become hugely popular, drawing thousands of visitors to pick pumpkins from a patch near the Farm Store. As many as 120,000 visitors have come during October, making it one of the largest events in the entire California State University system.
The Don B. Huntley College of Agriculture grows 40,000 pumpkins, two corn mazes, and a sunflower field, and provides petting farm animals for the event.
