🙌 Personal update

CuratedLA Family: you are all so awesome, and so kind. Many of you sent emails asking about what was going on with CuratedLA as I hadn’t posted in a while.

I took a long Spring Break to work on adult career things, one of which, is my continual writings for Unfiltered Feeds: Direct Messages of Hope. This is a project that showcases the benefits of both digital and social medias, and how we can use online content, communities, and connections to grow as individuals.

I hope that you will subscribe as I go deep within my own homelessness, struggles, but how I have also found hope, many of which you (yes you, the one smiling while reading this) all continue to inspire me with, through the means of digital.

On CuratedLA matters: I am very thankful to have additional work-related projects recently. As such, and being a one man show, I am hoping that I can post two to three times per week, strategically, for the next two months.

The newsletter will have a few adjustments, as seen from today’s formatting, for efficiency, but to also maximize content. Today’s newsletter design might not necessarily reflect the next one, but the purpose is the same: build appeal, community, and positivity throughout Los Angeles.

Ideally, I would continue my writings for Unfiltered Feeds: Direct Messages of Hope, while curating CuratedLA full time with a team every weekday. You never know….things can happen! There is a big market for investors and sponsors alike to invest with a positive platform, one where their brand can be seen with no morbid content.

Now, onto some Hollywood News, with Hollywood being where we are all going to take each other….

⭐️ Tupac to receive Hollywood Star: The late rapper Tupac Shakur will be honored on what would have been his 52nd birthday, this upcoming Wednesday, June 7th. Shakur’s Hollywood Star location will be between fellow artists Missy Elliott and Salt ‘N Pepa. Well-known radio host Big Boy, Director Allen Hughes, Jamal Joseph, and Tupac’s sister Sekyiwa ‘Set’ Shakur will receive Tupac’s star on behalf of his family.

🦖Yesterday was National Dinosaur Day: Who would have thought that there was such a thing? Well, we know now….

And we also know about some new dinosaurs, thanks to our PR friends at Apple, as they have been celebrating the second season of Apple TV+’s epic natural history docuseries, ‘PREHISTORIC PLANET.

NEW & NOTEWORTHY DINO FRIENDS: Using the latest scientific research and stunning visual effects, season two of “Prehistoric Planet” brings audiences up close and personal with new, never-before-seen species on-screen:

  • Isisaurus - An Indian sauropod (long-necked, plant-eating dinosaur) that made its home in an extreme volcanic region known as the Deccan Traps, laying eggs in volcanic heated terrain.

  • Pectinodon – a fierce hunter and fond parent, this bird-like North American feathered dinosaur was part of the troodontid family. A sharp-clawed, long-legged predator, it was an adaptable hunter, its teeth and jaws suggesting that many sorts of small animals would have been on the menu.

  • Quetzalcoatlus and Hatzegopteryx – The biggest creatures ever to soar the skies, these gargantuan pterosaurs (prehistoric flying reptiles) were the size of a giraffe or small aircraft and are some of “Prehistoric Planet’s” most charismatic characters.

Thank you again, CuratedLA family.

I plan to continue trivia, retro, and other sections after feedback from today’s newsletter. Please share your thoughts, or leave a comment below!

Have a wonderful weekend, good lookin’. And see everybody soon!
