🏎️ Speed Limit: The State of California is considering new measures to car models 2027 and newer. These measures would require those models to have technology that would limit speeding, preventing those from driving 10mph or more over the speed limit.

🏢 Eagle Rock: An eight-story affordable housing project has been proposed in Eagle Rock. The development, to be designed by JZA Architects, will include 153 one-and-two bedroom with a 46-car parking garage. 🛫 Burbank Airport: The Hollywood Burbank Airport is expanding with a $1.2 billion project. The project will revamp an old terminal from the 1930s, making way for fourteen gates to accommodate the ten million annual passengers that fly using Hollywood Burbank Airport.
🇨🇳 Chinatown: The County of Los Angeles wants to build affordable housing on Chinatown parking lot owned by the county. The property is located in the 700 area of N. Spring Street.
🌿 Santa Monica: A recreational cannabis store looks like it will be coming to Wilshire’s 1400 block. The store will be operated by Harvest Trulieve, a Canadian company whose market puts it at a $1.2bn value. The store’s operators say that they plan to open their new cannabis store on Wilshire by March.

🔌 Tesla: The Hawthorne electric automaker is planning to release new Tesla design builds in mid-2025.
👻 Snap: Snap, the company behind SnapChat, signed a new lease, renewing the Los Angeles corporate footprint for the next ten years. The company will continue to run shop in Santa Monica at BXP’s Business Park.
🏨 Hilton’s Metaverse: Patrons of the Hilton Brands can earn real-world Hilton Honors perks in the metaverse as part of a campaign that recreated an ad using the platform’s avatars.
💻️ Tech Career Fair: A virtual L.A. Career Fair for the tech industry will take place virtually in less than a month, February 24th. The career fair will welcome hiring partners from some of the fastest growing startups and Fortune 500 Companies. This is a free event, and worthy of a bookmark!
