[💃 …And we’ve changed our name: Curated: Queen Bey] Beyoncé walked into Crypto.com arena last night with nine GRAMMY nominations. She won nearly half of them, and made history while doing so: Queen Bey is crowned once more, holding the most GRAMMYs in history with a collective 32 golden statue awards. To quote GRAMMYs host Trevor Noah, “We can finally end the GOAT debate; it’s done now – it’s Beyoncé.”

[😘 The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Guide] Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and our friends over at LA Mag have curated The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Guide for both you and yours. From a romantic picnic in the park to a private tour of the Getty Villa, there are a lot of romantic ideas within our community. I mean, we are living in LA… /-/….Whether you're looking for something unique or something classic, there should be something for every mingling, and non-mingling couples. And here is another romantic plug for LA Mag that we previously mentioned: pick-up on aisle six

[ 👀 38,388 eyes on King James] It is projected that LeBron James will make history this week, most specifically on Thursday, February 9th when the Lakers host the Milwaukee Bucs at Crypto.com Arena. James is thirty-six points away to becoming the record holder for most points scored throughout an NBA career. Former Laker, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, currently holds the baton with a collective 38,387 points, all of which were scored throughout Abdul-Jabbar’s fourteen-season career tenure with Los Angeles. The baton for most career points has only been passed off just once prior: Abdul-Jabbar dethroned then-record holder, and former Lakers player, Wilt Chamberlain on April 5th, 1984. Tickets to see both LeBron James and history in-person, likely Thursday night against the Bucs, start at $608.00. CuratedLA subscribers, however, have lower-level sideline seats, courtesy of our 7:00pm nightly sponsor, TNT

[❤️ A Friday Valentine’s Market in Culver City] A warming bunch of over twenty-five local vendors are gathering in Culver City this Friday night, February 10th. These good folks can be found with our community playing games, offering food and drink specials, new drinks, purchasing food from competing food trucks, and listening to local tunes, all at Ivy Station. Parking is free while this shindig goes on from 5pm - 10pm. From a family night, to a night out for both Mom and Dad, this an additional night where we can celebrate the Month of Love

[  Construction updates at LAX] Reddit user liverichly posted construction photos of crews revamping LAX. The recent photos are from the specific project, Automated People Mover and Consolidated Rent-a-Car Facility Project at LAX, which is just a tiny portion of a full-scale vision for LAX. The entire project and vision, TransformingLAX Project, is a $15 billion Capital Improvement Program that will modernize terminals, provide an elevated guest experience, create a safer airfield, and improve access to one of the world’s busiest airports and provide long-awaited connections to nearby regional airports. View a list of all LAX projects, and their respective status of completion

[⭐️ No Spare needed: Harry strikes gold] Harry Styles won big with Pop Album of The Year, and Album of The Year, both for his recent album, Harry’s House. And Harry’s House was packed as various artists won multiple GRAMMYs last night: Beyoncé (4), Maverick City Music (4), Bonnie Raitt (3), Brandi Carlile (3), Kendrick Lamar (3), Harry Styles (2), Ozzy Osbourne (2), Samara Joy (2), Wet Leg (2), Willie Nelson (2), Time For Three, Xian Zhang, and The Philadelphia Orchestra (2), and lastly, Yannick Nézet-Séguin (2). All of these GRAMMY wins are just shy of being equivalent to one Dundie Award. I’m kidddinnnnggggg

[🌊 Making a splash with James Cameron ] Avatar: The Way of Water, is now the third-highest grossing box office with an estimated $1.6 billion, enough money to throw some luxurious icebergs at the Titanic, which now moves down to the fourth highest grossing box office of all time. James Cameron’s talent doesn’t seem to be drowning in the ocean depths by any means. Here’s to hoping that Cameron continues smooth sailing for the remaining Avatar films yet to be produced

We are now going into our third-week as a community, and we are excited to see the awesome CuratedLA growth and positive feedback 🙌

In an effort to keep the daily CuratedLA newsletter and platform condensed, we have developed Coffee Board, an updated-weekly view of community listings, broken down categorically.

👍️ This will help with two things:

  • Content is posted, as received, within an updated weekly view 👓️

  • Allows for more content, even if that content is that of a hyper-niche 🔍️

The traditional real estate listings have moved to Coffee Board, but general events will continue to be housed within both the daily newsletter and platform 👏

Starting tomorrow, this section herein will be replaced with a more appealing design, and a seamless funnel to access Coffee Board.

But for today, you can simply access this week’s Coffee Board below ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
