[💃 All the Beyoncé lovers, all the Beyoncé lovers] Beyoncé announced her 2023 world tour, Renaissance, Wednesday. And Queen Bey will making two stops in Inglewood, at SoFi Stadium on September 2nd, and September 3rd. For those that do not know, Beyoncé is an up and coming singer, songwriter, and artist that already has 28-GRAMMY awards. Both her and her husband, Jay-Z collectively have 51 GRAMMYs as a unit. This kind of stardom is beyond comprehensible, and we are led to believe Beyoncé’s tickets to SoFi Stadium will sell fast. Verified Beyoncé Fans can purchase exclusive-priority seating, while the general public can start purchasing tickets today

[❤️ February is Black History Month] Wednesday marked the start of Black History Month. Our friends at SMITHHOUSE PR sent us the inside scoop on what they, Fuse, and team of partners have been working on:

Fuse Media is kicking off the 8th year of its Future History franchise with the announcement of the 2023 Future Black History makers who are using their voice to drive positive change and whose impact will be talked about in the future. The Future Black History Class of 2023 will be spotlighted through a short-form video series which will be released during the month of February on the Fuse digital and social platforms, as well as its Fuse and FM (Fuse Music) linear channels.

[🍻 Non-alcoholic shots, shots, shot, shots. Everyyyboddyyy!] Move over, Dry January! A large population within our Community are trading in those boozy beverages for some non-alcoholic sips. Non-alcoholic bottle shops are popping up all over Los Angeles, offering the hip and health-conscious crowd a chance to indulge in some mocktails without sacrificing their sobriety. With the rise of these sober-friendly hangouts, it seems like sobriety is the new trend, one that we at CuratedLA are all for. [🌴 Los Angeles loves anything green] LA is known for its sunny skies, but with heavy rain comes a not-so-pleasant side effect: flooding. However, the city has come up with a solution that not only tackles the problem but also adds a touch of greenery to the concrete jungle. Introducing: green alleys. These alleys, lined with plants and permeable pavement, are designed to capture stormwater and prevent flooding. Not only does this solve a practical issue, but it also creates a more beautiful and environmentally-friendly Los Angeles

[  I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bicycle!] The City of West Hollywood is giving away bicycles to those WeHo residents that quality. The new initiative, Bike Giveaway Pilot Program to Support Climate Action Goals, is to promote more bicycle riding, and less driving. In order to receive a bicycle, WeHo residents must commit to riding a minimum of twenty miles a month, and produce bicycle odometer logs on a monthly basis to the City of WeHo for accountability purposes. Fifty residents have already been chosen at random and signups are now closed due to the demand this program received within the first hours upon announcement. However, we highly encourage those interested to reach out to the contact information provided on the official website, in addition to bookmarking the site. Another sign-up could happen relatively soon…

[ 🔭 Reminder | Green Comet] This weekend will be the best time for the Los Angeles naked eye to see that little green comet. Assuming we have clear skies, the comet should be noticed when the sun goes down. We should all be looking for green dust and a sparkling tail, known as a coma. Last chance!

[📈 Q4 results are in and Amazon continues its reign] Amazon crushed it this past holiday season: the company reported a nine percent increase in revenue to a whopping $149 billion, beating forecasts. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Thursday Night Football, and Amazon’s web services, AWS, saw a twenty-percent increase in segment sales. Amazon’s original series in the Lord of The Rings was the most watched Amazon Original series in every region of the world, capturing an audience of over 100 million viewers. Furthermore, Amazon’s Thursday Night Football finished the season up eleven percent over any NFL-based media within a target audience of 18-34 year olds. Amazon is also bringing back HBO to Prime Video Channels within the US, now giving customers access to an additional fifteen-thousand hours of premium content for $15.99 a month

[📺️ Let’s raise a glass to the history of the world] Dan Aykroyd is serving up a six-part comedic docuseries, A History of the World in Six Glasses, premiering on Fox Nation in January 2024. Aykroyd will be joined by fellow Saturday Night Live alumni Jim Belushi, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon and Cheers legend George Wendt. This series will take a sip through history, exploring the impact of beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, and soda on the world. Rob Long, one of the executive producers of Cheers, will be behind the camera, so we know that we will be in for some good belly laughs. Cheers to this project!

[📺️ Netflix dominates Nielsen streaming charts] Netflix continues to dominate the charts with Ginny & Georgia leading the pack as the number one title on Nielsen's U.S. streaming chart for the week of January 2 to January 8 with two-and-a-half billion viewing minutes. Kaleidoscope and Wednesday follow close behind with 1.6 billion, and one billion minutes respectively. Prime Video made its debut on the chart with Jack Ryan at number six, with 918 million minutes viewed. Peacock also makes the cut with Yellowstone sitting at number eight with 750M minutes viewed. The final season of The Walking Dead, Cocomelon, The Pale Blue Eye and Emily in Paris round off the list below:
