INTERSTATES + FREEWAYS 🪧 DIGITAL DOLPHINS: On Thursday, Mayor Bass endorsed a plan that would allow for eighty digital billboards to be placed on LA Metro property. The digital billboards would be comprised of rotating content that promotes traffic safety while allowing for companies to advertise next to our interstate and freeways. It is expected that the project would bring in $500m of ad revenue over the next twenty years. ‘Southern California is home to beautiful dolphins,’ Mayor Bass did not say. ‘And I just want everyone to see, up close and personal, the beauty of these dolphins.’ The proposal now makes way to City Council 🔗 LA Times
