• 🛣️ VALLEY BLVD: Northeast Los Angeles is set to receive a significant boost in street safety and mobility with an additional $36m for the Valley Boulevard Multi-Modal Mobility Project, bringing the total investment to $80m. This initiative will enhance a 4.5-mile corridor connecting El Sereno and Lincoln Heights with protected bike lanes, bus-only lanes, and improved pedestrian infrastructure, while also preserving cultural landmarks in Parque de Mexico.

• ☔️ VAN NUYS: Van Nuys is set for a green transformation with a makeover planned for the Sepulveda Boulevard median. The North Sepulveda Pedestrian Island project, funded by Measure W, will transform a quarter-mile stretch between Haynes and Lemay Streets with new landscaping, stormwater capture infrastructure, and pedestrian amenities. Construction is slated to begin in January 2025 and wrap up by early 2026.
