[🏆 Show me the OSCAR!] Legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer has finally received his first Oscar nomination for his work on the hit film Top Gun: Maverick. The film itself received a total of five nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. Though Tom Cruise did not receive as many nominations as some had predicted, including Best Actor for his role in the film, he did receive a nomination for Best Producer, along with Bruckheimer. With over twenty years of experience in the film industry, Bruckheimer's nomination is long overdue. Hollywood: we really need to show Bruckheimer the OSCAR. The 95th Academy Awards will be held at Ovation Hollywood Sunday, March 12th and will be televised live on ABC. This year’s Academy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. [🦀 Hmmm...God Bless Texas. Seafood] The Dallas-based restaurant chain Hudson House will open this upcoming Monday, welcoming patrons to fancy their East Coast feasts that feature a diverse range of American fare, with an emphasis on seafood. Standout menu items include the lobster roll and the grilled octopus. The atmosphere is comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a causal dinner or a weekend brunch. [🚲 Just do whatever you want on Sherman Way] Let's dust off our bikes, and break out the walking shoes: CircLAvia is back with the Valley23 edition. This car-free event will take place on Sunday, February 26th and will feature five car-free miles of Sherman Way so that you can do whatever you want: jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, you name it. The route will have a variety of accessibility entrances and will be a great event to take the youngins' to. And you can even bring your beets, Dwight Schrute. You can do whatever you want with your beets on Sherman Way from 9am - 3pm.

[👑 James makes history in a Clippers win] LeBron James made history by becoming the first NBA player to score 40+ points against all 30 teams, but the Lakers were defeated by the Clippers with a final score of 133-115. Paul George led the Clippers with 27 points, marking their 10th straight win over the Lakers and a 35-7 record since 2012.

[📱'Spirits use to call me on my cell phone...'] A24 is in final talks to acquire rights to the horror film Talk to Me after its debut at the Sundance Film Festival. The film, which stars Sophia Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Djanji and Zoe Terakes, follows a group of teenage friends that takes up communicating with spirits as a party activity. The film is said to have received a high seven-figure amount and is expected to have a wide theatrical release over the summer movie season. The deal is being negotiated by Bankside Films and is yet to be closed.

The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, but it has been reported that the deal is estimated to be worth north of $200 million. The catalog includes Bieber's solo hits such as Baby, Sorry, Love Yourself, and Yummy, as well as songs from his collaborations with other artists, including I Don't Care with Ed Sheeran and Stuck with U with Ariana Grande. Baby. Baby. Oh.....
