MONDAY HEADLINES

EATER’S FOOD ITEM OF THE YEAR 🍦 CVT ICE CREAM: LA's iconic CVT Soft Serve brings its delicious vanilla and chocolate soft serve to grocery stores via adult-sized squeeze pouches. Available at select spots like Bristol Farms and Gelson’s, these pouches offer on-the-go convenience and irresistible flavor. So irresistible, it has Eatery calling it LA’s food item of the year.

The uniqueness of this product has led to high demand, with stores repeatedly running out of stock. The simplicity of the idea, holding soft serve directly in hand, sets it apart. Owner Joe Nicchi's goal is to get this treat into the hands of kids, parents, and ice cream lovers as swiftly as possible.

The CVT2Go pouches are perfect for various settings, from lunch boxes to beach trips and outdoor events. With a velvety texture that remains intact even outside the freezer, it's a summer essential. Tacos 1986 already offers these treats, and they're expected to become a staple at LA venues and beyond 🔗 Eater: Los Angeles
