🚀 WHAT A PLAN

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM WYATT’S MIND

CuratedLA Readers + Curators:

I would like to take a quick detour from our usual LA content to provide all of us with a small portion of the 2024 CuratedLA Roadmap.

CuratedLA is all about community power, it is the muscle behind this platform. And after what will be a year since our launch this January, our community-muscle is growing.

In speaking of strength, I am investing the next couple of days virtually attending Neil Patel’s Marketing Summit —

Both things being said, I am excited to announce two items that represent a mere beginning of a CuratedLA Community workout plan, beginning early 2024.

Overview

  1. CuratedLA Guides + Maps

  2. Influential + Youth Curators

LA SPACER

Let’s begin…

GUIDES + MAPS

CURATEDLA GUIDES + MAPS

Next week we will publish our first CuratedLA Guide and continue to publish guides that pertain to Los Angeles and our surrounding communities.

CuratedLA Guides will showcase LA spots, best of the best restaurants, best places to shop, seasonal guides, and other creative interests that we all have. These guides will be both neighborhood specific and represent LA as a whole.

But every guide needs a map, and this is where CuratedLA Maps come into play.

CuratedLA Maps are interactive, embedded maps within a CuratedLA Guide, pinpointing where we can support our best LA brands, restaurants, and events.

All CuratedLA Maps have Google Maps integrations for the ability to uncover nearby places of interest while we are out-and-about in LA.

QR codes will be utilized throughout both our maps and guides, providing brands with opportunities to provide discounts, further information about their brand, fun tidbits and more.

INFLUENCE

INFLUENTIAL + YOUTH CURATORS

We need to pump-up our social media game, it was never a priority but we are going to start making it one.

Instagram, TikTok, and other social media outlets are obviously a great way for influencers to expose their talents and their personal brands online. Business brands themselves also benefit.

In continuing the traditional social media model, CuratedLA will partner with local influencers to curate guides, promotions, and instill other collaborations that allow our local influencers to have an SEO-enabled artifact to promote backlinking opportunities, an increase in a healthy online presence, and the simple ability to showcase that influencer’s writing style. This is merely an additional add-on to an influencers social media, and a way for influencers to monetize their talents + creativity.

CuratedLA also wishes to be a forerunner within the realms of incorporating LA youth, most particularly juniors and seniors in high school, into promoting positivity so that they themselves can influence their generation and provide services of Good to others.

For our youth, our model is simple: parental + guardian collaborations.

We are led to believe that we have a strong creative background, while our parents + guardians have an outlet and understanding of their youth. In combining the two, CuratedLA will foster parental and guardian involvement, looping them in on every email, conversation, and collaboration, so they can actively engage with their youth, helping them expand on their ideas, craft emails, messages, navigate disagreements, and more.

The payout for these opportunities are a 74/26 split of what sponsoring brands pay CuratedLA for their presence within a respective CuratedLA Guide. The 74% will go to the influencer with complete transparency and digital paperwork for taxes, and our belief in doing the next best thing.

This influencer program starts February 2024, while onboarding + inquiry forms for both influencers and business brands come mid-November.

For those that have extra muscle and want to get noticed, send an email to: [email protected] with a mere, ‘I’m interested,’ and state if you are either a brand or influencer.

We do ask that those high schoolers provide us with their class rank, i.e., junior or senior, a parental or guardian email address, and that parent or guardian's best phone number to reach them at. High school folks: it’d be very helpful to provide them with this article. If I myself only paid attention to directions while at Riverside High… 🫧 🫧

To everyone reading this: thank you for an awesome 2023 thus far. It has not only been fulfilling structure for me personally, but an outlet that has allowed me to understand LA dynamics, all while interacting with you beautiful people.

CuratedLA will be back in normal fashion tomorrow to share the good vibes of what is going on here in LA.

And as we say it best from where I am from in the South: ‘Yall, we are so excited.’
