Kalb cited Jemma di Mare’s seafood dishes lacked in sales, prompting the opening of Ospi’s location in Brentwood. • 🅿️ METER SCAM: Authorities in Redondo Beach are alerting the public about a scam involving fake QR codes found on approximately 150 parking meters in the Esplanade and Riviera Village areas. These fraudulent codes, which were placed alongside official stickers, directed users to a deceptive website prompting them for payment information. City officials have since removed the fake codes and are urging anyone who may have been defrauded to contact the Redondo Beach Police Department.

• 🚨 BEACH ADVISORIES: Beachgoers, take note: the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued warnings for a dozen beaches stretching from San Pedro to Santa Monica due to elevated bacteria levels. Popular spots like Santa Monica Pier, Topanga Canyon Beach, and Inner Cabrillo Beach are among those affected, with swimmers advised to avoid contact with ocean waters in these areas. The project, designed by Rahman Engineering, will utilize density bonuses to exceed zoning limits and allocate fifteen units for low-income residents.

• 🏡 EAST LOS ANGELES: Las Dahlias, a new affordable housing development at the corner of 3rd and Dangler Streets in East Los Angeles, has officially opened its doors, offering 78 units designed for local residents. Developed by National CORE and featuring designs by AC Martin, the four-story building includes a mix of studios, one-and two-bedroom apartments, with thirty-six units specifically reserved for individuals experiencing homelessness. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a community center, playground, rooftop garden, and a vibrant mural by artist Stephanie Mercado that celebrates East LA's rich cultural heritage.
