🎒 New school year vibes: Four of our areas biggest school districts, and the nation’s second biggest district in that of LAUSD, are heading back-to-school today. Not only will our youngsters dive into new chapters, but so will those that love them as we adjust our schedules, meet new teachers, and prepare for a great school year. 🧹 LA gets electric with street-cleaning vehicle: Los Angeles took a green stride towards its clean energy target on August 10, revealing its inaugural all-electric street sweeper. Costing around $800,000, the electric sweeper comes at a higher price tag than its gas-fueled counterpart but promises fuel savings and reduced maintenance expenses.
